OUR VOICES - OUR VOTE - OUR FUTURE

August 26 is celebrated as Women's Equality Day, commemorating the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment, which granted American white women the constitutional right to vote.

This landmark achievement was the result of decades of tireless advocacy, organizing, and sacrifice by generations of women who believed their voices deserved to be heard.

We can't overlook the incredible contributions of the many fearless black women (like Ida B. Wells and Mary Church Terrell) and indigenous women (like Marie Louise Bottineau Baldwin) who also fought this battle even though they were knew they would be excluded from any benefit.

As we mark this anniversary and look ahead to the upcoming midterm elections, we invite you to join us for an evening of reflection and conversation.

This nonpartisan gathering will bring together voices from across the community to discuss women's advocacy and impact in civic life, exploring the path that led to suffrage, the progress made in the decades since, and the ongoing work of building inclusive leadership and civil rights for our collective future.

Together we'll examine how women have shaped, and continue to shape, our democracy, from the ballot box to the boardroom to the halls of government.

Whether you're passionate about history, engaged in civic participation, or simply want to connect with others who care about the future of leadership and representation, this evening offers a space for meaningful dialogue.

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and celebration as we honor the past, engage with the present, and look toward the future of women's leadership in America and globally.
